What to have ready before you place your first bid.

1. Financing certificate covering price, document duty and costs
2. Sales prospectus and condition report read before the viewing
3. TG2 and TG3 items priced
4. Completion certificate or use permit checked
5. Shared debt, common costs and interest-only period (for cooperatives) checked
6. Maximum bid and acceptance deadline decided in advance
7. Insurance arranged from handover
